First visit
60 to 90 minutes
A full history, a whole-body exam of how you move, hands-on treatment, and a plan for what comes next.
Saturdays & Sundays | 11am - 4pm
Osteopathic manipulative treatment, or OMT, at the Waldwick office.
Dr. Nelly Singh, DO uses her hands to find where your body is restricted, in the joints, muscles, and connective tissue, and to restore the motion that pain has taken away.
Techniques range from gentle stretching and sustained pressure to slow, guided movement of a joint. Each visit starts with a medical evaluation, so you're treated by a board-certified physician who can also diagnose, order imaging when it's needed, and refer you if a problem needs more than hands-on care.
Hands-on treatment can ease pain and tension without adding a medication. It works alongside anything you already take.
Dr. Nelly looks at how your whole body moves. A stiff hip can drive a sore back, and a tight neck can drive headaches.
Every visit is with a physician trained in OMT through medical school and residency, not a technician following a protocol.
First visits run 60 to 90 minutes and follow-ups 30 to 45. There's room to examine, treat, and explain.
Adults and kids ages 5 and up.
OMT is not for emergencies. For a suspected fracture, a head injury, chest pain, or sudden weakness or numbness, go to urgent care or the emergency department.
Saturday and Sunday, 11am - 4pm, at 85 Hopper Avenue in Waldwick.

OMT is hands-on diagnosis and treatment by a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Nelly uses gentle pressure, stretching, resistance, and guided movement to release restrictions in muscles, joints, and connective tissue, so the body can move and heal more freely.
It overlaps with both but is neither. OMT is performed by a fully licensed physician, starts with a medical evaluation, and draws on a wide range of techniques, most of them gentle. Dr. Nelly can also diagnose, order imaging, prescribe, and refer you when hands-on treatment isn't the right answer.
Saturday and Sunday, 11am - 4pm, at the Waldwick office. Book your first visit online. After that, follow-ups are booked in the patient portal.
You talk through your history and what hurts. Dr. Nelly then examines your posture and how each area moves before treating. Most people leave with a few simple things to do at home. Plan on 60 to 90 minutes.
Most techniques are gentle. Some use firm pressure, and it's common to feel mildly sore for a day afterward, like after a good stretch. Tell Dr. Nelly if anything is uncomfortable. The treatment adapts to you.
It depends on the problem. A recent strain may settle in one to three visits. Long-standing pain usually takes a series of visits spaced a week or more apart, then an occasional visit to keep things moving.
No. OMT is a stand-alone visit: $250 for the first visit and $160 for follow-ups. Signature Care members can book OMT visits as well.
Insurance is not billed. You pay per visit, a superbill is available on request, and HSA or FSA funds can be used.
Comfortable clothes you can move in, like what you'd wear to stretch or exercise. There's no need to undress.
Pick a Saturday or Sunday time that works for you. Once Dr. Nelly confirms it, you'll get a payment link by email.
