Why a membership?
Because your health deserves the time. A membership guarantees quick scheduling, longer visits, and direct access to your physician.
At most clinics, you're one of 2,000+ patients.
That's why visits feel rushed and appointments take weeks. Dr. Nelly limits her membership, so you get her time when you need it.
What a membership gets you.
Quick scheduling
Same-day or next-day appointments, in the office or by video. No waiting weeks, no urgent care for primary care problems.
More time
Visits run 30 to 60 minutes. Ask every question and cover more than one concern.
Direct access
Message Dr. Nelly directly. No phone trees, no rotating providers. The same doctor every time.
Free patient portal
Message Dr. Nelly, review your records and results, complete forms, and book visits in one secure place.
Membership vs. a traditional clinic.
One flat monthly fee covers all your visits. No copays, no surprise bills.
| What's compared | Membership with Dr. Nelly | Traditional clinic |
|---|---|---|

What is direct primary care?
A membership with your doctor. You pay a flat monthly fee for visits and direct access to Dr. Nelly, instead of running every visit through insurance. More time, easier access, and care built on a real relationship.
Do you accept insurance?
Insurance is not required and is never billed. Your membership covers all visits. You can still use insurance for labs, imaging, specialists, and medications. A superbill is available on request, and membership is HSA eligible.
I have good insurance. Why would I join?
Many members do. Insurance covers costs. Membership gets you timely appointments, direct communication, and the same doctor every time.
Do I still need insurance?
Yes. A membership is not insurance. Keep a health plan for hospital stays, specialists, imaging, and emergencies.
Can I use HSA or FSA funds?
HSA funds may be used toward direct primary care memberships, up to monthly limits set by federal guidelines. Check with your plan for details.
Can I join if I have Medicare?
Not at this time. You can join the Medicare waitlist on the plans page and we will reach out if that changes.
Is there a patient portal?
Yes, and it is free with every plan. Use it to message Dr. Nelly, review your records and results, complete forms, and book visits.
Do you prescribe medications?
Yes, when medically appropriate. Controlled substances are not prescribed through telehealth visits.
Can I cancel?
Anytime. Memberships are month to month with no contract. If you rejoin later, there is a $299 re-enrollment fee.
Ready for a doctor who knows you?
Choose a plan and book your first visit. Memberships aren't charged until that visit.
